Industry

Professional services. Accounting, tax and advisory for small and independent businesses — guesthouses, trades, retailers and tourism operators, the same kind of client MMS itself builds for.

The problem

Accounting firm sites tend to fall into one of two failure modes: sterile corporate stock-photo templates, or overcorrecting into forced friendliness that undermines trust. The brief: typographic confidence and structured, plain-language information doing the trust-building — not a stock photo of a handshake.

Creative direction

The most typographically authoritative of the three. Bigger, more confident headline moments than Milkwood House or Outeniqua Fabrication Co., paired with structured data presentation for services, sectors and process — commercially serious rather than warm, without tipping into cold.

Typography

Headlines run larger and plainer than the other two concepts — short, declarative sentences at scale. Mono carries the numbered engagement process and service numbering, giving the page a sense of procedure without needing icons or illustration to communicate it.

Desktop experience

Large statement headline in the hero, followed by sequential service rows (numbered, mono-labelled) and a five-step engagement process laid out as a horizontal sequence — deliberately procedural, mirroring how an actual engagement unfolds.

Mobile experience

Service rows stack with the mono number staying anchored to the left rather than floating; the five-step process collapses from a horizontal row into a single stacked column so each step still gets its own full-width moment instead of being compressed.

Interactions

Minimal, consistent with the rest of the site's restraint — reveal-on-scroll only. The page's confidence comes from typography and structure, not motion.

Technical implementation

Real Next.js route (/concepts/03), same shared token system, real Unsplash photography (logged in HANDOVER.md — office and document imagery only, deliberately avoiding any photo of people posing as staff). Screenshotted and scroll-recorded via the same Playwright pipeline as the other two.

Final design
